Compliant Electrical Safety Training for Different Work Tasks
The SFS6002 electrical safety standard specifies that all persons working in the electrical field must receive electrical safety training. This applies to employees in both management and operational and expert positions.
In addition to the training requirement for electrical professionals, the standard defines an “instructed person,” i.e., a person who is not an electrical professional but who has been familiarized with or instructed in the task and its electrical safety requirements and risks caused by electricity. An instructed person may perform electrical work that causes minimal danger or harm, provided they have received sufficient familiarization, such as Instructed Person’s Electrical Safety Card Training.
Koulutustukku’s electrical safety training complies with the requirements of Section 83 of the Electrical Safety Act 1135/2016 and Annex X.9 of the standard SFS 6002:2015 to be followed under it.

First Aid Skills Are a Requirement in Electrical Work
According to requirements, first aid training must be provided to all electrical professionals. The requirement also applies to supervisory staff, directing and assisting work. First aid skills must also be maintained and updated at regular intervals.
